Hands-On Experience – 100 Engineering Projects

Students prefer to experiment in order to understand. We call it hands-on experience. In this case the students don’t expect to find everything ready made in the photocopied teacher’s notes but they rather learn through various experiments which includes mistakes. Mistakes are not to be viewed as something negative but rather steps towards a better understanding.

Your new teacher – Your smart phone!

Lessons are NOT confined to a class and have to be with a human being – teacher. In 2016, we are becoming more aware that lessons happen everywhere! Most of our students do have a smart phone. What do we do with a smartphone? Obviously we use it to phone, message, snap photos, browse the internet, buy etc…

How many people use the smartphone for educational purposes? Very few. Well, there are some schools where students are taught how to use a smart phone and/or tablet in order to understand better their lessons in class. It’s not going to substitute the lesson delivered in class but it will make it more clear. We are suggesting some links to help students turn the mobile phone from an electronic gadget into an educational tool.
